Bridgette's three children say she spoils them, and has even bought them pornography to entertain themselves when they were younger. She denies it, and says her kids are moochers who take advantage of her."

"Carol, David and I are very sexually active," confesses Bridgette's daughter, Lauren. "I think it might have to do with my mom and dad watching a lot of porn in front of us." Lauren admits to watching pornography about five times a week. "We knew about sex when we were about 5 years old," she reveals.

David agrees. "We have been watching rated X movies since we were kids. I was 12 or 13 years old when I started watching hardcore pornography," he says. "They would even take us to the porno shop. My mother buys pornos for me all the time."

Carol likes to host "porn fests," where she and her friends eat, drink and watch pornography all night. Bridgette is aware of her daughter's parties, but feels Carol is of age. "Most parents would kick the friends out and turn the TV off, but she is 18 years old, so I feel she's an adult now. I just walk away," she says.

Mike doesn't agree with his daughter's viewing habits. "An 18-year-old watching pornography with her friends in her parents' house is improper," he says. "I guess I am just old fashioned. I think it is immoral."

Bridgette is fed up with her children's behavior. "I am so sick and f*****g tired of these kids taking advantage of me," she says. "Acting like animals is what they are with all their sexual, horrible behaviors, and then they try to make it out like I am the reason that they are this way. This family is sick and we need a lot of help."

Dr. Phil wants to get the facts straight with Bridgette. "These kids are saying they have been exposed to porn all their lives, and David is saying you have purchased porn for him," he notes. "You say that is an absolute, blatant lie."

Bridgette affirms this. "Absolute, blatant lie," she says vehemently.

David chimes in, "Mom, you took me—"

She glares at him. "You are lying. I am not going to sit here and let you lie. And as far as saying you all watched porn since you were little—"

Lauren backs her brother up. "You did take us to porn shops," she insists.

David repeats, "You took me."

Addressing her kids, Bridgette says, "You are 18, and you are 19. You are of age where you can go in [the pornography shop]. As far as saying you have watched them since you were kids, I don't think so," she declares. "Your friends gave you that porn to watch."

Lauren is tired of the bickering. "There is no point in talking to her," she tells Dr. Phil. "She didn't even want us on the show. She said it was about her and [my dad]. She doesn't even care about us."

Mike speaks up. "That is not true," he says.

Bridgette feels hurt. "Lauren, we do care," she says. "We're angry at the choices you all have chosen to make."

Dr. Phil attempts to clarify. "You have not taken any of these kids to porn shops?" he asks Bridgette and Mike. "You have not purchased any of this stuff for them. True or false?"

Bridgette admits she has frequented an adult store. "It is not porno. It is a clean, adult shop," she maintains.

Dr. Phil takes her to task. "But they have X-rated stuff in there," he says.

She agrees, saying, "But [the kids] are of age. They can go."

David says the kids never went to porn shops when they were younger. "When I was 13, I would sneak into their room — me and my friends. We would take their movies and watch them," he tells Dr. Phil.

Turning to Bridgette, Dr. Phil asks, "Did you know that?"

"No, I didn't," she replies.

Mike comments, "He just said 'sneak.' I think that speaks for itself."

Turning to Carol, Dr. Phil asks, "Have you had porn watching parties at home?"

"Yes," she replies.

Bridgette says, "I told her that is disgusting and I didn't like it, but she is 18 years old," she says.

Dr. Phil isn't buying her excuses. "It is your house!" he says. "You have the right to say no."

"I don't feel like I have any right because they take advantage of me," Bridgette complains.

Turning to Mike, Dr. Phil says, "Your daughter is having porn-watching parties in your house. Is that OK with you?"

Mike answers, "No, it is not."

Dr. Phil is skeptical. "Then why is that happening?"

Carol says that her parents are unaware of her parties, and Mike says he is not home much to witness them.

"Is this the first you have ever heard of it?" Dr. Phil asks him. "Are you telling me you didn't know this was going on?"

Mike responds, "I did know, but not until recently."

David wants his family to come clean. "I didn't want to come on [here] because I knew that everyone would just lie," he tells Dr. Phil. "No one is being truthful right now. We came on the show to get help, to be truthful, and I am being truthful about everything."

Bridgette refutes this. "You are a compulsive liar, and you know that," she tells her son. Turning to Dr. Phil, she says, "He goes to that store on his own, and he buys a ton of porn. His girlfriend has made him dump all of his porn in the trash."

"And I haven't bought any since then," David shoots back.

Mike says he is concerned about Lauren's involvement with pornography. "Even your Halloween costume was pretty obscene. You're a bit of an exhibitionist, and you are going to get yourself hurt," he tells his daughter.

"Is this part of the personal truth of this family?" Dr. Phil asks. "Whether you bought it, you took him there, he bought it, whether you are home when she's having porn parties at the house or not — does that strike you as being anywhere remotely close to OK and healthy?"

"It's not OK," Bridgette says.

Mike feels responsible for some of his family's behavior. "As much as I scream and yell about doing the right thing ... it's ironic that my own family seems to be morally lacking. For that, I have to blame myself," he says. "I have never been the strong father figure, the man of the family, like I should have been. In a family that has strong moral fiber, pornography isn't even an issue ... I blame myself for not taking control, morally, of this family a long time ago. Now, I think it's really too late."

"It is not too late," Dr. Phil says strongly. Turning to the kids, he says, "Do you think it is too late?"

Carol says no, but Lauren doesn't feel optimistic. "I think it is too late," she says. "I just kind of gave up."

Mike rephrases his answer. "I don't think it is too late, but in the strict sense of changing the kids' attitude toward sex, it might be too late," he says. "But as far as keeping the family together, and a cohesive unit, and enjoying each other's presence, I don't think it is too late. I hope not!"

"You have two girls here who are coming of age when they could be choosing husbands, getting married, having careers. I don't know a time that parents can be more important, more valuable, more influential than when kids start making decisions that have a meaningful impact," Dr. Phil tells Bridgette and Mike. "I don't think it is too late to have a meaningful impact here."

Turning to Bridgette, Dr. Phil says, "Tell me about the loneliness of your life."

"Lauren and David don't live with us, and Carol is in hair school, so she is not home a lot," she says. "And [Mike] works all the time, so I am by myself pretty much."

"Are you hurting inside?" Dr. Phil asks her.

"Very much so," she replies. "I look at other families, and I guess I get hurt by it because I see my friends and their husbands doing stuff together."

"What is your biggest fear for Lauren?" Dr. Phil probes.

"My biggest fear is that she is making the wrong choices," Bridgette answers.
